Area: From Nefyn breakwater in the West to Pistyll Dock in the East and including Wern caravan park.
Tackle: Standard beach fishing gear with a two or three hook rig.
Tides: Fishes better in the last half hour of the ebb and the first three hours of flood. But can also fish two hours after high water down to low tide.
Bait: Lugworm, Sandeel, Crab and Ragworm.
Conditions: Flat sandy beach with the odd rough path in the East. Conditions can vary after winter storms.
Other fish: Thornback Ray, Spotted Ray, Small Eyed Ray, Pollack and Turbot.
Autmn and winter fishing is best in a Northerly wind when the surf is up. Spring and Summer species prefer calmer seas.
