Area: West from the quarry at Llanbedrog headland along the beach in front of the Warren Caravan Park is some of the best flatty fishing on the Peninsula.
Tackle: Standard beach rod, two or three hook size 2 to 2/0 trace.
Tides: Best fished from an hour before low and the incoming tide.
Bait: Razor, Ragworm, Crab, Lug, Sandeel and Mackerel.
Conditions: A few boulders close in around the headland. Otherwise a flat, clean sandy beach.
Other fish: Turbot, Brill, Sole.
This beach is very popular with holiday makers in the summer for this reason, the best fishing between May and September is at first light.
